The duration of Reiki training can vary depending on the specific seminar or program. Each Reiki Level (1,2,3) training needs two days, providing an intensive introduction to Reiki, meditations, workbooks, attunements and practice. The Reiki teacher Level training takes one day but you need to be a Reiki master (Reiki Level 3) first in order to become a teacher. The time that is needed between Reiki Level 1 to Reiki Level 2 is 6 months and from Reiki Level 2 to Reiki Level 3 a year. The duration is determined from the practice you need to do in order to be able to reach a higher level of training and consciousness. Some students take more than a year to achieve Reiki Level 3 and become Reiki masters.
